Our strength and conditioning programme tailored around you

Our Strength and Conditioning service has been developed to support individuals in meeting their performance goals.

We have developed two packages, a virtual package that enables you to have all the support you need anywhere in the globe, and the second is in person with lots of added benefits.

The programmes are designed by appropriately qualified Strength and Conditioning coaches, who are registered with the UKSCA.  Through these coaches they will work with our Physiotherapists to develop a personal tailored programme to you and your goals.

And why us? All our practitioners are appropriately accredited and hold their accreditation across several bodies. We ensure that they stay abreast of all the latest practice and guidelines. We will only ever provide you with evidence based services.

Your programme is custom made to maximise the efficiency of your workout and stimulate stronger growth. We look at the specific demands of your activity, break this down into its constituent parts, before testing these underpinning components to see where your strengths and weaknesses lie.

We then use this information to inform your training so we can:

1) make the training specific to you, your activity and your goals

2) measure and quantify progress providing constant feedback of what’s working well and what isn’t.

  • All our programmes are tailored to you. Therefore we need to discuss you, your lifestyle, your working life and how much time you are wanting to commit to the programme. We will take this information and work with you to set this against your goals and ambitions.

“I met Mike earlier this year when I was training for a marathon. I hadn’t done any running for a while, and stupidly went from zero to maximum mileage in the space of a week, and my ankle said no!

I thought I wouldn’t be able to do the race, but speaking with Mike, and having him (rather painfully) work into my calves, I slowly built my training up. When my ankle would become painful again, together we would decide to trim back my training, and take it on a week by week case.

At times I wanted to cancel my race, but Mike gave me the confidence that it would get better, that my training will start paying off, and I could perform. I ended up getting a personal best, and qualifying into the London Marathon, among some other races for next year.

With help from Mike, at the race starting line I’m confident my body is healthy, and I have put in all I can to perform on the day.
